Another great week in the MTC. I am feeling the spirit every day, and I love it. I had some really great experiences this week, and some trying ones as well. This past Sunday was fast Sunday and it was a great day. The spirit and the testimonies of the missionaries here is amazing. We also had the privilege to be taught by the MTC president about specific prayers. I decided to act on his teachings and this week I prayed specifically to have frustrating experiences, to which I could respond with patience and love. The Lord answered my prayer multiple times this week. My first experience was in a lesson with my companion. He went A.W.O.L. on the lesson plan and it was very difficult to bring the lesson back to a setting where we focused on the needs of our investigator and really listened to their concerns and desires. I was able to remember my prayer and give kind loving feedback when the lesson was over. My 2nd experience was also with my companion. Sometimes he doesn't want to work hard, or will just fall asleep in class. I had many other similar experiences this week that tested me, and they were great to learn from. I also had a great experiences with the scriptures this week. I went to the scriptures with a specific question, "How can I be a better leader and servant to be district," and as I read a wrote down all my impressions. I was reading in 3rd Nephi when Christ visits the Americas and I almost couldn't believe the very specific answers I was receiving. I filled up about 4 pages of notes. The Lord truly know us and our specific needs and he will speak to us through the spirit and through the scriptures. The words of Christ will truly tell us all things that we should do.
