August 1, 2016

HEY! I don't know what is happening. Time is going by so fast and I can't believe this "cambio" has ended, and I leave for S in just a few hours.

This week, like the rest, has been crazy.

I ate very well this week. Pollo con arroz, carne, guacamole, torta chocolate con dulce de leche, y mucho mas. It seemed like everyone we visited had something to give us. The members and our investigators here are awesome and I will miss them a lot. I was only here 6 weeks, but I love them. This morning after our fútbol partido, Los jóvenes dijeron " No se vaya Elder Boyack, no se vaya!" I love the people here.

My new area is S, it is in the same zone, but the hermanas who were in S are going to join the other hermanas in C and the zone leaders will come to Tand our zone will now be T....Which means I will be able to return for zone training! Now about S From what I could understand S is more inland and up in the mountains. It will be cold. And possibly have snow. The branch there is very small, on average 25 people attend each sunday. Elder T and I will be the only missionaries there. We won't know anyone, or where anything is. IT WILL BE AWESOME. I can't tell how excited I am for this new challenge. We will be opening the sector together and will have to work very hard. We won't have a mamita, but the scriptures promise that we won't go hungry if we are serving the Lord.

This entire week I was preparing to direct the sector for when my companion leaves, BUT we are both leaving. Apparently this never happens, but I have been told that my entire life. haha. Everyone was getting ready to say goodbye to Elder T, and were shocked when we found out on Saturday that I was leaving as well.

I honestly can't remember most of this week it was so fast, but the ward and a "show de talentos" on Friday and it was really fun. This week was busy as usual, we taught seminary which was great. I taught my favorite part of the old testament in 1&" Kings when Elijah sets a bunch of people on fire, Elias sets to she bears on a herd of little manchildren, and heals Naaman. The lesson was listen to the prophet and you can be healed, if not you will be set on fire, or eaten by ravenous bears. This Sunday was great. I had a special musical number and we had a very spiritual class with the young men. We spent the afternoon visiting as many people as we could. We passed for the Mamita before turning in and she had made ARREPAS! and some really good cake. I will miss her a lot in S, she is such a great sister. That's all for this week, but I'm sure I will have tons of things to share next Monday!

Thanks for your love, counsel, and prayers. I love you!
